Tato Nut Donut Shop - Established in 1960, Tato Nut has become a staple for locals and regular visitors for decades now. Home of "the only real donut" and gourmet coffee. They feature donuts made fresh daily and all your favorite coffee and espresso drinks, hot and iced.
Caboose Cones - The cutest little snowball stand inside of a vintage caboose car! A must-visit when you’re in town (just be sure to check their Facebook page for open hours!).
Miner’s Toy Store - Another Ocean Springs favorite- Miner’s Toy Store was originally established in 1986 and is still owned and operated by the original family. Step into a world where fun and whimsy rule! If you’re lucky you’ll get to see Mrs. Merileigh while you’re visiting. She is Ocean Springs' own magical “Mary Poppins”.
Little Children’s Park - Located on the Main Street of Washington Avenue in downtown Ocean Springs, Little Children’s Park is perfect for letting the kiddos get some energy out! With lots of historic oak trees creating shade and plenty of places to play, this is a great stop.
Fort Maurepas Park - Recently renovated, the Fort Maurepas playground is better than ever! The park is a quick walk from Front Beach Cottages and overlooks Ocean Springs Front Beach!
Margaritaville - With a 55,000 square foot entertainment center, a rooftop water playground, and Paradise Pier fun park, this is a great day trip to plan for your vacation (and it’s only an 8 minute drive from your cottage!).
The Candy Cottage has been nestled away in downtown Ocean Springs since 1992. They’ve been proudly serving families of the town their homemade sweets for nearly 30 years! While they offer lots of modern favorites, they are known for their popular pecan logs (and we recommend the chocolate covered potato chips).
Pop Brothers, located downtown on Government Street, creates handcrafted, small-batch popsicles with all natural (and inventive) flavors made with fresh fruits and spices! They are community based and used local growers. It may take you some time to choose your pop- they have so many unique and interested flavors to choose from, but we promise it will be worth it! They even offer dog-friendly flavors for the furry friends!
